Silent fire alarm for nursing home in Essen
Challenge: In an existing property with outdated infrastructure that had been retrofitted over the years by various providers, the silent alarm system was defective. An inspection by the city authorities found it to be non-functional and demanded a quick remedy – otherwise, closure was imminent. Until then, an expensive 24-hour fire watch was necessary.

About the project
The new silent alarm system was urgently needed and had to be integrated into the existing infrastructure. The resolution by the city authorities: If no solution was found by Christmas, the institution faced dissolution and closure. An expensive 24-hour fire watch had to be arranged until the system was operational.

Installed in record time,

accepted without defects, and saved costs

Only two providers could carry out an inspection of legacy infrastructure and submit a bid. Divital's offer was 43% cheaper (TCO) and we came out as the only provider that that was up to the ambitious schedule: Commissioned at the end of November, operational before Christmas – accepted without defects by a municipal expert.

Digital silent alarming

- modern AML technology instead of bulky radio transmitters and ancient pagers, perfectly integrated into the IT and communication landscape

Divital checked and replaced faulty parts of the infrastructure – from cabling in the corridors to replacing the DECT repeaters and alarm sets.
